That’s what I was getting at.

Right on. Got a bit of that young American pro athlete attitude. First step in getting some swagger back.

I took it as, no Bob/EK/Panarin/Duchene.

I would be shocked if they aren't in on at least 1 of Myers/Gardiner/Ferland/B.Nelson.

I suspect they will add one middle of the road dman...hoping they will be quiet

Well, you can't be surprised. With the oppressive Swedish Anti Swagger Law (SASL) that most our player's grew up under, it was too much to ask of them to change so late in life.

Shame really.

I’m hoping for 1 or 2 minimum wage replacement level guys that can slide to Utica or play in the NHL if one of the “prospects” don’t win the job.

I just hope nothing is more than 3 or 4 years so the next GM has a chance to actually build a contender.

I don't know. They've had experience with them before. Bure/Kesler types. I'm sure you can make a list of canuck alphas.

No Hughes, but we will see a defenseman make his Rogers Arena debut on Wednesday: Guillaume Brisebois.

The latest from Quinn, what to do with those last two available contracts and game-day musings as the Canucks prepare to face the Rangers, in the new blog:

Anything longer than 3 years is too much.

I meant Green specifically lol, potentially the same with EP/Boeser if/when the Canucks make the playoffs in the future, if those guys don't produce, some people are going to start questioning them instead of a 24/7 lovefest.
- Nucker101

Next year the team should be better than this. If Green can't get them going to compete hard for a playoff spot I feel he will deserve criticism. Leaving my pitchfork in the shed for now.

Listening to bennings comments I’m pleased. High end UFAs won’t be considered this year. Exactly what I wanted to hear

I believe he is very close to being nhl ready, unfortuneately, he would be sent back too Juniors.
He would be ready, if he could get a bit of seasoning in the AHL.
They really need to fix that rule about Juniors, that are exceptional status, having to go back.

- Reubenkincade

That’s easy just up the draft age a year instead of ripping off Jr team owners.

Be prepared for 2 bottom pairing defenders to be signed for 3mx4 with NTC.
