The Strome + Perlini trade may be Stan's best trade.... I keep coming back to it and I'm just wowed. How did Stan, the guy who gave away Denault/Teuvo, get these two beasts for Schmaltz??
Anyhow, things are looking bright for next season. |

True. But I don’t consider what’s being reported as hard data. - Spec41971
Ogi could correct me in a heartbeat......but,
Model has been in service for over 2 years without issue.
2 3rd world pilots nose dive planes into terra firma and its Boeings issue?
1/5 to 1/6 of the training of US pilots and everyone is shocked at the results?

Ya, funny how that works when 5 guys together play as a team up and down the ice.
And the Leaf defence in total is no better than Chicago's.
Didn't know the Hawks lead the league in 5 on 5 scoring. |
|

Seems kinda weird to be up 5-1 and will be biting my nails throughout the 3rd period unless they go up by ... oh ... 10 or so. |

leafs came out with a push and the hawks stayed with it and did not let up
1. no bad giveaways
2. no penalties
3. Craw stopped the few good chances they got
need to keep that up in the 3rd...
where did this #11 come from after a couple of scratches..7 goals in 5 games and a few assists added... |
|
|
|
Still can't believe we got Strome and Perlini for the contact averse Schmaltz, thank you hockey gods |

i figured they were near the top because their pp was so horrid for the first 40 games and they were still scoring... |

They are missing 2 of their starting d-men in Gardiner and Dermott but I don't think either one of those guys is actually above average at defense.

Leafs get lots of SATs in good scoring areas - SC are 20-32 - but Hawks have blocked 19 shots (Seabrook with 6). |

Calm down PE, there are multiple microphones on top of the glass in every arena. It could have been said by anyone near any of those six microphones.
I heard today that the Tampa bench, which is near one of the mikes, was yelling to "rag it" meaning the puck. Makes perfect sense. - 6628
I will not defend them. Something was said (which the league does not promote). It is there duty to find out who said it. Or else the next time it is said it shouldn't be a big deal. |

If the knee injury doesn't affect Schmaltz' speed - he may turn into a 70+ point scorer. Too early to judge the trade as a massacre.
