And the Leaf defence in total is no better than Chicago's.

They are missing 2 of their starting d-men in Gardiner and Dermott but I don't think either one of those guys is actually above average at defense.

Leafs get lots of SATs in good scoring areas - SC are 20-32 - but Hawks have blocked 19 shots (Seabrook with 6).

Calm down PE, there are multiple microphones on top of the glass in every arena. It could have been said by anyone near any of those six microphones.
I heard today that the Tampa bench, which is near one of the mikes, was yelling to "rag it" meaning the puck. Makes perfect sense.

I will not defend them. Something was said (which the league does not promote). It is there duty to find out who said it. Or else the next time it is said it shouldn't be a big deal.

If the knee injury doesn't affect Schmaltz' speed - he may turn into a 70+ point scorer. Too early to judge the trade as a massacre.
