Although not a great game, Matthews has been the best Leaf tonight. Kinda says what needs to be said about the score...

Bout time they caught a break. Fluke goal really but maybe they can get something going here. Make a closer game of it at least.

That will barely if at all cover the raises given to AM and MM. They are in real trouble cap wise whether people want admit it or not. Will be near impossible to get better.

One year, then the cap will rise again and Marleau will be off the books. Next year will be a squeeze but after that it's more than manageable. Tricky, but manageable.
I have no reason not to trust Dubas at this point.
