Kreider's elbow is no different than a chicken wing elbow that players get suspended for.

Yeah, it’s more like Getzlaf’s “accidentally on purpose” hit on Jake.
Difficult for the NHL to prove intent so they can’t do much more than a fine |

Or Reaves accidentally destroying Edler from behind. |

the key is net in/out
never mind the future projections that guy added, that's his opinion
the actual net in vs net out in trades is pretty bad:

Looks bad, but they need to colour in the left hand side as well for it to be not so biased. Aside from a couple draft picks (and the missed name of McCann), the rest would be red as well |

For sure, its less about the colour coding and more about the volume to me.
The trades have not worked out well for Jim. |

the colour coding was a mistake by that guy, he should've just left it like he had originally in the pic I posted. That just takes away attention from his main point. Benning apologists are going to deflect by arguing over that part.
Brisebois/66th overall is the highest pick he's actually acquired and managed not to trade away in almost 5 years |

Exactly, the most important question is who is Net out that we miss?
I'll save everyone a lot of time - not one (frank)ing idiot. |

it's actually more about value and if JB has really managed to acquire a true piece that will aid the rebuild long-term. Just because he traded away old vets that would've been useless for a rebuilding team, doesn't mean that we should be okay with getting zero long-term pieces in return. Talk about a low bar you're setting. By that logic, just letting the contracts of Edler/Tanev expire next will be breaking even for JB.
Sven had the strongest case as a middle 6 winger until his head sadly turned into mush. Goldy is far from a lock, the dude is still getting healthy scratched. Brisebois I have my doubts about being anything more than a 6/7 dman.
Leivo I guess would be the current leading candidate |

wow what a fu*cking joke. Malkin swings his stick at a guys head and gets 1 game
McDavid has co-incidental head contact on a shoulder check and gets 2 games
5K fine for Kreider on a head shot with elbow and a blatant attempt to injure.
there are no words.

Really?
I didn’t think it was that bad.
I think he definitely wanted to punch Pettersson in the face, but I don’t think a suspension is warranted. |

Not sure where your post disappeared here lol, but I agree. I laughed at the Lemeiux major penalty call too, that was a typical reactionary call by the refs. |

It started with the Hansen/Burrows trades.
Don't ask about this year's TDL though. JB had no one of value to trade that was expendable
Also, don't ask why he had no one of value to trade either.

Same.
That was a head scratcher.
It was kinda funny how there were 2 injuries and 2 ejections, although Petey came back.
New rule: if you head shot a guy that has to get the concussion protocol business, the offender has to sit out himself for the same length of time.
