Funny how I proposed a trade a trade for OEL in December long before Dahlin was a reality and Fitz was fallin for Dahlin.
Fast forward to this year I start the tank train and get bombarded by half of the board saying I’m not a real fan and how the group just needs “playoff experience”. Not even a month and a half later this whole board is trashing the team and all aboard the tank train. Pretty funny.
You also had ROR on the trade block as early as December like Jeremy White’s super secret Sabre source. Homie you may be Jeremy whites super secret Sabre source lol. - Pegullaville

Not everyone is on the tank train, and there are a ton of people angry that no moves were made to make playoff experience a greater possibility. At this point, nobody knows which of the two would have been the right strategy for the team.
Unless you’re double jointed, your elbow must be broken with how frequently you pat yourself on the back.

I admitted I was overly critical of Reinhart’s play on the last page. When I’m wrong I own it, when I’m right I make it known. I just happen to be right more often then I’m wrong. I thought Mittelstadt would put up 50 points this year, was wrong about that too.

You know our draft pick this year is going to be a meaningful contributor, 2 months before we even pick him??
Maybe you should think about slowing your roll, because the way you define “right” is a bit more generous than the way Most people do.

I think this is the best draft 1-15 since 2015 fwiw. I think we’ll get a good player in the 6-8 range that we are in right now. Whether it’s a Zegras/Turcotte down the middle or a Cozens/Boldy/Podkolzin on the wing. Byram looks like a stud defender. I have faith in Botts and his scouting department to make the right selection for the franchise. A little lottery luck wouldn’t hurt either and we won’t know that till April 9th.
“There’s a chip on your shoulder when you play against your old team,” Thompson said. “You want to have a good game, obviously. It means a lot more to you than probably playing against someone else.”
-From an article about Tage on The Athletic. I’m interested to see exactly what his “shoulder-chip” game looks like, seeing as this game means a lot more to him than all the others. This is Tage’s Stanley Cup.

I'll take 10 dollars on wide right
15 dollars on wide left
25 on high over the net

We’ve got an optimist over here. You think he’ll get shot(s) off? I’m just hoping he doesn’t take the puck from all alone in from of their net, to behind their net in some bizarre looping move.
Buffalo badly needs to hit on a player as good as Sebastian Aho in the draft, regardless of round, in the next 2-3 years. They need somebody to turn out that good.

I think you're seeing what you want to see there, Skip.
