Does that explain how ROR was killing it to start the season & Tarasenko was struggling to start the year?

ROR has proved he’s a #1 Center

The haters are ridiculous at this point

- jdfitz77

He’s Not a number one center, come on.. that just crazy talk

Because he punked out when Eichel got hit so he needed to “prove himself” or something stupid.

It didn't help he was hurt, or at least dazed before he started throwing them.

He’s the top line Center for StL,
who is making the playoffs

Was the problem her ROR...
or the rest of the team?

Also frequently recognized as one of the top 2way Centers in the league

And now that he’s not being buried in the defensive zone...
he’s a PPG player

Here’s who thinks he’s a #1 Center...
JACK
His other piers (voted most underrated)
Team Canada (wore a letter)
Pretty much all the former players in media
The “experts” in the media
Even the analytics community
Ex:
Corsica ranks him the #12 Center...
in the league
https://www.dailyfaceoff....-blues/line-combinations/

Here’s who doesn’t...
a few haters on Hbuzz
It’s literally EVERYONE but u guys

😂😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah... sure... u guys are right...
OR
U don’t know wtf you’re talking about?
Hmmmmmm...

ROR was killing it and the Blues were taking calls on their star players and we’re bottom 5 in the league.... The blues are where they are becuase Tarasenko went on a tear, they got secondary scoring, and Binnington had a .950SV% over a course of 15 games. ROR has 6 points in his last 12 games. They also play in a weak Western Conference and would be 4 points out of a playoff spot if they played in the East. ROR is a good player, but when he’s playing on a much better team it’s reflecting in the standings. Switch ROR and Eichel and the Blues may be 1st in the Central right now.
- Pegullaville

Or...
Eichel might be such a d!ck that HE is the one who causes a SUPPOSED division in the locker room

Go ahead & blame ROR for the StL slow start... even though he was the guy who was straight killing it to start the season
And he’s still doing really well

Get a grip dude

Please...
tell me more about how good Tage is

You guys are hysterical at this point
And not on a funny way
In a “he’s barely a #4” kinda way

The best for his stats or the best for the team? There's a big difference between the two.
- Lunaion

There CAN be a difference between the two

But using a player to his best abilities is rarely a bad idea imo

STL is using O’Reilly in the correct way
And it more than shows

Pominville has the best 5 on 5 shooting % on the team

Weird

Two words

Vladimir Tarasenko

- Pegullaville

Tarasenko... +5
O’Reilly... +22

O’Reilly... exceeding expectations (68pts in 71gms)
Tarasenko... not quite meeting typical expectations (58pts in 68gms)

Obviously the +/- shows they spend significant time apart,
and when they do...
O’Reilly thrives (offensively AND defensively)
Tarasenko doesn’t

Go ahead & explain all that
Or don’t
It’s very obvious what’s happening in StL

I’d be willing to bet just about anything,
that at the start of the season,
You’d have rather had Tage AND Berglund taking a shot on net than Pommer

This is EXACTLY what’s wrong with taking a random cherrypicked Analytics stat...
Pommer has a better 5v5 shooting percentage than Jack & Skinner,
but who would EVERYONE- incl Pommer-
rather have the puck on their stick?

Cherrypick away though

It’s crazy how much time u must spend delving into these stats,
only to not understand at all how they actually relate to real game play

Reinhart is on a 6 game pointless streak.

Rodrigues has 0 goals in 17 games

Ristolainen 3 points in his last 16 games

Thompson hasn’t scored since Harambe was alive

Skinner no goals in 12

Does Girgensons have a 2019 goal?

How’s Scott Wilson doing? Can’t believe he’s on an NHL roster

This team is lacking so many actual NHL’ers

Is Skinner signing here or what? I was pretty optimistic that this was a slam dunk, but with every game that passes, I am getting more and more anxious about it. There's no way we blow this, right?

Over the last 3 years McElhinney has the 2nd best save % in the NHL.

Seriously.

And we could have just as easily claimed him if we hadn't jumped the gun on Hutton. Or just let Ullmark go to Vegas.

Glad I watched the Bulls game tonight...Lack of posts tells me many other Sabers fans did the same
- pwasil7

I watched the games at a bar often frequent. It has about 8 or 9 TV's. By the end of the 2nd period, all TV's were on the UB game, and nobody complained one bit.

Its crazy how you write a novella response to a 1 liner (like all the time). Your take on the game is truly awful, the only gameplay you're an expert in is nhl 19. Sit the (frank) down
