Yeah, that’s totally an antiquated expression now. There must be a more modern way to say “lazy, disinterested and indifferent”.

Hey at least you got it.

As soon as I hit post I was like hmmm...... wonder how many people are gonna get that one.

have you seen the last 10 games?

2-7-1
lost last 6

they could go 1-10-1 in the last 12 games

- homiedclown

1-10-1 So you think they are going to score again I see.

But how many other teams in hockey history have faced so many “heck of a team(s) over there” in a row? And so many “desperate teams who just wanted it more”? And don’t forget how many “hot goaltenders” we’ve faced.

I say break out the white paint for the skates and embrace the streak.... 1-2-3, we want 4.. (ok that is just sad)

Look at the shot dispersion.

Shot menatlity ignores quality.

i'm tired of the losing and am sure this group of players is too...let's stop the bleeding now, imo...that is, of course, if t-pegs and botts plan on showing phil the door
- Michael Pachla

I see you're point of view as well.

Maybe I'm too focused on the draft lottery?

I’m just a jerk typing out of frustration. I don’t what I would say either, if I were in their position.

But after literal years of these phrases in a row, it’s on me at this point. I’m the masochist tuning into post game shows.

PAVELSKI FACING UNCERTAIN FUTURE IN SAN JOSE?

THE ATHLETIC (subscription required): San Jose Sharks captain Joe Pavelski is enjoying a resurgent performance this season, on pace to reach 40 goals this season. However, Kevin Kurz suggests the 34-year-old center’s future with the Sharks is hazy.

Pavelski is slated to become an unrestricted free agent this summer. Kurz feels the Sharks will likely wait and see if they can re-sign defenseman Erik Karlsson before deciding what, if anything, they’ll offer Pavelski, whose preference is to stay in San Jose.

Would Pavelski do what his body Marleau did and sign a 3 year deal for $18m? I'd offer even more for a 3 year deal. $8-$9m. If he's available, I'd say he would be the best UFA forward out there.

It certainly appears so. I was surprised to see Sheary had four of those shots from quality spots, until I remembered it was a game against his old team. I doubt his name is splashed all around the front of the net on other games.

I know the Sabres haven't scored in almost 100 minutes, but they still play Detroit ( 2), new jersey, and ottawa (2) more times.

No way we lose 4 of those 5 games

- Boss34

detroit played tampa tough last night, should have won it

and even when we play decent we are lucky to go .500 vs these bottom feeders

and now 4 months later we are a bottom feeder and all 3 of these teams probably have played better then us since our win streak

I slapped my forehead a few times last night when he glided through what Housley calls "Zone 1," and waited to take those two shots on the far left

Wouldnt ,500 be 2-2-1 ?

Which could lead to more then 1-10-1?

We're terrible, but I feel like we have a few more wins waiting.

Toronto is a winnable game in my opinion. At home. Toronto is hitting a rough patch

I know he was acquired on the cheap but both players in that trade have been utterly disappointing. We did the Pens a huge favor to take that large chunk of money off their cap. I hope they repay that favor someday.

They can give us Malkin for a 1st and okposo. that would make it even.
