Said we have a bunch of good prospects 4 to 5 years away. I don't want to suck that long.

I mean I wouldn't mind, but I'm the only one.

I brought him up yesterday, Cole Caufield had a 6 goal game last night

https://uwbadgers.com/new...-goal-scoring-record.aspx

right now, mynhldraft has him 15th overall

http://www.mynhldraft.com/NHL-Mock-Draft/

nhldraftsite has him 20th

https://www.draftsite.com/nhl/mock-draft/2019/

I gotta think there's a real good chance he is going sooner than that

very interested to see where he gets drafted and if his teammates Boldy and Turcotte still go before him despite the fact he scores all the goals

I'm hoping they pick up Albin Grewe - still ranked in the 30-50 range. Awesome player!

I think Hughes had 5 assists last night. I think I read that Caufield is now the best goal scorer in USDP history and Hughes is best overall point producer in USDP history. Insane.

At the draft let’s say we have the 5th overall pick. Do you think colorado (if they win the lottery)would consider trading us the 1st overall pick for the 5th overall pick, our other 1st from Winnipeg, Prospect, and the pick from Tampa that might be a 1st rounder? Would you guys do that trade? I’m bored this Saturday morning. Lol waiting for Jimmy to yell at me for this. [url]

I was thinking the same thing. I think your proposal is a little rich. 3 first rounders to move up 4 spots is steep imo, but I don’t think you’re far off.

I could see our first, the peg first, a roster player like Vesey/Strome/Pionk, a second/third depending on the player

I am of the belief that whoever wins the lottery isn't going to be willing to trade the opportunity to draft Hughes no matter what the package is

this class of players that's going to go in the 2019 draft from the USDP program is amazing

Hughes, Zegras, Boldy, Turcotte, Cole Caufield and Cam York all likely in the top 15 of the draft

this is the Team USA draft

Hughes or Kakko. The top 2 picks are probably non-negotiable.

I generally agree, but I could see a scenario where a team like Colorado makes a good playoff push but misses because of depth reasons. They’ve got the top end talent for sure, just a matter of playing a full 60 minutes. So moving back a couple spots for a huge package isn’t out of question.

If Caufield really is closer to the 5'6" 150 lb. size that I see listed on other sites, I am not sure he goes that high. Todays NHL has become more about skating than size, but he might be too small to have pro success. Its not realistic to think he is still going to grow much more either.

With the NHL as was expected, in having rescinded that fictitious penalty called erroneously on Lemieux in the loss to Vancouver, following Zib's being done so likewise that occurred 5 games prior to that one in the loss to Dallas, the league must start taking action to correct these matters, prior to them playing the crucial difference in some team's outcome when it matters most.

"Penalizing" their on ice officials is a start, but still would not be enough of a solution. Despite hating to slow the game down with another video review, that is likely the only true means, with Toronto officials utilizing multi angled replays to insure the proper decision is rendered. If the NHL can do so regarding goals being legitimately scored or not, they can do so more easily to determine whether a player deserves the penalty extent that both Lemieux and Zib had initially received, rather than admit their mistake within a day or two later in looking worse when correcting the issue.

The Rangers woeful power play continues after going 0 FOR 3 in Calgary, in looking lost both structurally and mentally wise as to what to do on it, in now being extended to a 1 FOR 29 slump in their last 9 games played.

At least Quinn took his frustrations out after the game as to that issue, and the team looking as slow as it has in a long time out there, with players appearing not to care, as per their lack of physical play as well. Being out shot attempted 46-30 in SOG + including their 14 Blocked Shots to Calgary's 5 blocked, despite holding the Flames to just 3 SOG in the 2nd, but still yielding 2 goals, best dictates Quinn's words especially for both the 1st and 3rd periods.

Imagine if Georgiev were not sharp that game, despite allowing 5 goals. All could expect the similar again in tonight's match up against the desperate Wild, after having to travel to Minnesota right after the loss.

Zucc or no Zucc, what has happened to Kreider? If he is indeed as rumored, playing through some nagging injury, the Rangers should shut him down, even prior to being "officially" eliminated from playoff contention. Scoring just 2 goals in the last 19 games, as opposed to 24 in the first 52 games dictates that something is missing greater than Zucc no longer being around for those last 10 games of 19 on his line along with Zib, who also has had his own scoring woes recently.

I understand what you are saying, but, I mean, look at DeBrincat

he lasted until 39th overall in 2016 strictly because of his size and all team's are kicking themselves now

That's true for the majority of Rangers fans, and for the players in key with Kreider and Zib who appear now as if they are missing his presence with them on the ice, along with Hank, "the actor" as per Zucc's own words.
