Tulo was using the glove since he was 10 too lol - Aaron_85
Really?
I thought he went through a few a season. I guess not.
This is exactly the kind of glove I have, except mine is a left-handed glove, not right-handed.

When the Jays released him as a favour I would think he left on very good terms.
Perhaps it's your memory of his time here that's the problem. - TrashPanda
Nah, he wasn't happy about leaving. And I can't blame him for that. The team pretty much said he can't do it anymore. Which is (frank)ing insane.
He's been hurt a lot, I understand that, but when healthy, he's still one of the absolute best shortstops in the game. The Jays should have kept him here to help develop the young kids. Instead of paying him $30 million to go play for the Yankees. |

No, I'm also referring to the reports that he'd only be willing to play SS and no where else on the field. Which led to his release.. - PatC80
He was one of the best SS in the game, so why wouldn't he insist on that? It's not a problem for me.
Plus, that wasn't the problem, his ankle/feet problems were. Which were not his fault. |

They pay coaches to develop players, other than pro bench warmer he had no place on the team. |

So what, guys moved positions as they got older, Cal Ripken did it, as did A-Roid and even one of all time favs, Tony Fernandez. |

He'd still be the best shortstop on this team and it isn't close. |

Marincin gets the call because he’s left-handed.” Babcock said.
Oh Babs. It wouldn't matter if Marincin was the most left-handed defenseman to ever be left-handed, he'd still suck.
In fairness, I guess Holl and Oz haven't been much better, although I feel like Holl hasn't really had as many chances. Maybe he's been underwhelming in practice? |

Yeah, but it's a rebuilding team and his feet are still huge question marks.
The Yankees need him for about half a season, I hope he can do it. |

Ridiculous.
If hitting dingers, scoring runs, and winning games is wrong, I don't wanna be right. - GreatGigInTheSky
Senstroll is only providing half the story.
People said they were depending too much on the long ball and not enough in other areas of hitting. That it wouldnt stand up in the playoffs.
....
And well |

True. And the SkyDome's turf ain't good for him. But still, it would help the young players more to learn directly from the best shortstop of the past decade.
Yankees will probably win this year. They're just that good. |

For some reason, maybe due to personnel, John Gibbons wouldn't play "small ball", the Jays rarely, if ever bunted |

I mean, the reason the Jays lost was because Goins made one really bad mistake, Amish Boy Wonder reached 3 feet over the wall to grab the ball for a "homerun" and somehow MLB came to the conclusion that he didn't, and Ben Revere struckout looking on a pitch that missed the strikezone by 2 literal feet.
That's all from only one single game. |

Last night's loss stings but yeah... 11 more games... loads can happen until then.
If we do finish 9th though.... worst scenario possible. |
