No Jake for the 1st round....yikes.

- Garnie

I think they call up Sandin or Liljegren.

Preferably Sandin....

Just look at Mcavoy and Subban. They jumped right into stardom in the playoffs.

That's true, I know with the type of players we had, we couldn't really play small ball, and the only way to manufacture runs was via the HR.

Price was ok in the regular season though, he finished with a 9-1 record after the trade.

- PatC80

Yeah, but he fell apart in the playoffs, stinking every game. It was so bad they made him a reliever, and he stunk at that, too. All of a sudden he just couldn't find the strike zone.

Yeah, that's true.. remember when Price replaced Richardey in the 4th inning, when the Jays were up 4 runs.. To build up his confidence?

I read on Ek's thread that the Leafs will only get 1 out of a possible 4 points against the Flyers...

Not much point in tuning in tonight...

Rosen is better than both at the moment. Don't know the info on his injury situation though

Last night's loss stings but yeah... 11 more games... loads can happen until then.

If we do finish 9th though.... worst scenario possible.

- Scabeh

I’m just hoping it comes down to the last game against the leafs. Win and get in or lose and finish 9th. Would be a great final game of the year.

Sandin makes the right okay every (frank)ing time.

I get it if they want to wait on him...but to me his skill translates to the NHL very nicely.

I’m high on him..I think he comes up and surprises many people.

I won't argue that he isn't good enough for the NHL yet. Honestly, I haven't seen enough to judge, so I'll take your word for it.

I think he stays down anyways, simply because the Leafs are thinking ahead to the next expansion draft, so they don't let him play 10+ games.
Because he's under 20, even if he plays in the AHL this year, if he doesn't play in the NHL, this won't count as a professional year of experience as far as the rules for the expansion draft (from what I understand).
