All anyone said about Sparks to start the year was that he'd earned his shot and might have potential to be a decent goalie. It hasn't really worked out unfortunately.

You could clone Bower or Sawchuck and they couldnt save these guys. Freddy isnt really the issue. Its crappy defence being played by the whole team not just the defence.

I'm starting to think there really is truth to the idea that our systems just aren't very effective at defending in our own zone. Maybe Babs and co need to come up with a new strategy?
