You could clone Bower or Sawchuck and they couldnt save these guys. Freddy isnt really the issue. Its crappy defence being played by the whole team not just the defence.

As much as I've been harping on Gards recently, he's still better than Marincin, Holl, or Oz.

I'm starting to think there really is truth to the idea that our systems just aren't very effective at defending in our own zone. Maybe Babs and co need to come up with a new strategy?

It all requires a lot of energy output: fast outs, no D to D passing, just chip it out as quick as you can or bump pass or swinging center.

Z and Muzzin play a more traditional patient breakout I've noticed since they been paired together; 5 man unit with the 4th line.

Funny thing is our fourth line has consistently been showing up for the most part and generated some offensive zone time.
