At the moment Dubas is kinda to blame. He probably should of got a few depth pieces at the deadline anticipating injuries. But what can ya do. It's his first year. Live and learn.

I still can’t believe what Chia did to the forward depth of that organization. Couldve had Eberle, Hall, RNH, Draisaitl and potentially Barzal to play with McDavid.

I mean, the Leafs were the least injured team this season. And after the deadline they lose 2 or their top 4 D, the 2 top callup guys from the Marlies, and their 2 top prospects have both missed a bunch of time this season to injury.

He traded for Muzzin. I don't think this is on him at all.

Especially considering he needs to leave a certain amount of CAP space so they can use the bonuses on this seasons CAP and not next.

If Edmonton had an even remotely competent GM, there's a decent chance they may have at least played for a Stanley Cup already.

That's why I said kinda lol. I also believe the Leafs players are playing lighter as to not get injured. I think they know they got the playoffs locked up so there just playing the motions. Like all the recent injuries have subliminally got into there head.

I’m tired of listening to the interviews and seeing the quotes. Talking about what needs to be done to be better and how they plan to do so. Just shut the (frank) up. Go out on the ice. And get it done.

I think they’ve subconsciously gone into cruise control because there’s nowhere to go until the playoffs. Not what the coach would be preaching but there’s not much he can do right now to motivate them.
