I think they’ve subconsciously gone into cruise control because there’s nowhere to go until the playoffs. Not what the coach would be preaching but there’s not much he can do right now to motivate them.

Sucks that Holl will be sat again for sure, but the -4 on the night was deceiving: he was playing well, just started taking chances that didn't pan out, but when you're playing from behind all night, that'll happen.

Key is for this team to come out of the gate on fire for once. Set the pace instead of receiving the game all night and hoping for a bailout in net on the first 5-10 shots while your legs get under you.

I thought he’s been great.

He had a couple weeks there when he was playing injured and didn’t look himself...he was wrapped around his ribs.

But without him Marincin would be on the 2nd pair right now.
