Goals also happen a lot with sub-par goaltending, poor coaching choices, and lack of effort.
There are a whole host of reasons for it, and singling out one specific player, pair, or coach would be unfair. The whole team has been awful.

They needed help in more than just top rd and they got it. What other rd was available?

He got himself space away from the defender and went behind the net. Had at least a few seconds to make a play and had Muzzin to his left waiting for a pass. What does he do? Throws it up ice.

The coach has to coach what he has. His forward group is as good or better than anyone else skill wise. Whining about getting heavier is a cop out. They aren't losing cause of heavy.
