okay so how can you tell it was intentional if no one can tell intent?
- twiztedmike

Intent can't be called therefore you must call a foul - otherwise there is no deterent. So you are trial for murder and in your defense you say, oh, I didn't mean to kill that person. So you are free to go and there is no penalty. OK

You’re David Clarkson’s water bottle... you win.

Everyone has a low point in their careers. At least it was my choice to become that water bottle in the first place.

that's a terrible analogy - we're talking about a goalie's intent to kick a net off (whilst making a save)

it happens all the time in hockey.

There you go again...taking a somewhat self righteous path. Waste of money to you...not to me. I don't do drugs - saved my money up to buy a TV. See how that works.
You had the same opportunities I had, you chose a different path, does that make your lifestyle better than mine?

- Woderwick

I like you better when you’re being less argumentative..

I’m gonna go smoke some drugs and stream the game on the internet.

Back spasms can be tricky.

A couple of years ago, we were down in Jupiter, Florida. I started having back spasms.

Ended up going to a place called Orchids of Asia Day Spa to try to get some relief.

I ended up having to go there every day of our vacation. Twice on the last day!

It was worth it, though.

- Atomic Wedgie

Well I am glad the story had a happy ending.

I refuse to buy an iPhone because I don’t want to be connected when I leave the house. I like the outdoors, fishing, kayaking and other stuff. I carry an old flip phone for emergencies. But as soon as I get home the first thing I do is get online.
The internet is addictive even for old coots like myself.

- shack67

You’re definitely on to something.

I’d be just as happy with a digital camera in the woods as I would with an iPhone.

No it doesn't happen all the time. There is no rule in place, there is a rule in place if the goalie throws his stick, intentional or not. There is a rule in place if a defender puts his hand on the puck in the crease - these are rules to punish teams trying to avoid being scored upon by cheating. This is even worse with knocking the net off is's moorings because the play is dead. This also needs to be consistent. Have a look at this goal that counted - much less clear cut than either the goals that were disallowed against the Leafs this week.

I have a GoPro on my kayak just in case something really out of the ordinary happens. If I get eaten by something, either fish or mammal at least the family will have some closure.

it was knocked off just as the shot went off

in the Leafs case, Matthews had the first shot attempt (net knocked off), then had 2 more

Both cases goalie knocked the net off, not a Leaf. The puck was clearly going in on both plays. Knocking the net off was used as a method to avoid being scored on.

Have you guys seen the movie Wall-E. Has the fat lazy people people that have electronics that do everything for them. Now that's my vision of a perfect utopia. I have TV's in every room, Four tablets, two laptops, 2 desktops, 3 android boxes. If I didn't have to work to pay for all the poop. I'd prolly not step outside. Except to BBQ cuz Bbq-ed food taste better.

Just watching the replay of the game. My lord...Nylander was a freakin' beast last night, Kadri looked good, Marner is Mirko Frycer with talent, Brown and Hyman looked good. The fact the Flyers were dead was the difference, some guys could barely get up off the ice.

So much was excitingly right for the Leafs...so much was horribly wrong.
