2 years ago they shouldn't have made the playoffs and over exceeded expectations. Last year they got to game 7 against the Bruins and cold have won it. This year they're top 5 in the entire league. Matthews is top 5 in goals per game.

I'd say their progression from last to first is about as good as it can get, and has exceeded all of my expectations going into the rebuild. Babcock choosing the Leafs 4 or so years ago is a huge part of that. The fact that they're top 5 in the league and people are talking about how the season isn't going very well show how far the team has come.

It's really been a fun ride since Babcock came in.

Haha sorry I misspoke, I meant from last to where they are now, a playoff team with expectations. That progression has been a really fun experience as a Leaf fan.

Absolutely...i think the Sabres are a joke. Eichel has quit and Dahlin is already broken. They are looking at at least another 5-7 years before they even get close to 8th.

I used to go to 20 games a year. Havent gone in 3 years. Joke franchise. Edmonton of the East

I come here looking for knowledgeable hockey debate...but its hit or miss...sometimes i get the knowledgable fans...other times i just get the clowns that hurl insults to cover the fact theyre overmatched.
