Nazem Kadri brings some perspective to the #leafs current 1-3-0 slide: "This is nothing. I've been around for much darker days."

Pretty much my thinking. Almost guaranteed locked into 2/3rd in the division. Hard to stay motivated. They will be fine imo.

It's nothing in the standings sure. But the way in which they've been losing (and winning for that matter), is concerning

I guess. A lot of faceoff goals lately and lack of trying imo. Stuff that when it matters will be cleaned up I’m sure.

No-one ever said he can't win a Cup. They said you can't win a Cup if he's your best player. And that's still true.
- BestRapperAlive

I mean, Phil was their best player in the playoffs for the first Cup, at least.

Arguably he was the best player in the first cup win. He lost to Crosby for mvp but I think that had more to do with a biased of voters.

Question for ya, Scabby:

If the Habs get mathematically eliminated in the last week, will Habs fans dump their tickets for the last game?

I'm thinking that even know it will be a nothing game for either team, it might be a fun atmosphere to watch Habs fans boo their team off the ice.

Eichel has been great this year. Buffalo has a similar problem to Edmonton.

Which helped with Crosby taking line 1 assignments and Malkin taking line 2 assignments...I love Phil, think he's a funny mofo but I don't think he'd put up the same #'s without those 2 guys being the focus. JMO

I'm pretty sure fans won't boo them.

At least they shouldn't.

This team was penciled as a bottom 5 team when the season started.

They've played above every expectation and our young guys are having career years and great progression.

Only complete idiots would boo their team in that context.

....

God dammit it's gonna happen isn't it?

Agree on that. I really wanted him to win the mvp though

Leafman said he did a flyby the other game... is that considered lazy or is that different?

#teamsoftness

Similiar though, except it would be ok if we didn't have 18 guys that do flybys.

ANSWER THE GOD-DAMN QUESTION!!!!

But yeah, no way in hell fans in Montreal or Buffalo should be bitter with their team this year. I know Buffalo is in the toilet right now, but they did show they have a bright future.

Will Habs fans dump the tix, or do you think they will go to the last game to pay tribute?

The last Leafs game in Montreal I attended, Craig Wolanin blew out his knee, ending his NHL career.

His son now plays in the NHL.

So it's been a long time...

I'm guessing those bags were filled with cookies, 20 minutes before this photo was taken.

I think people will go to the game.

Team gave us a good show all year, people will respect that.
