So is Babs gonna roll with Sparks in the playoffs? Hes been known to nail stars to the bench in the postseason if their game goes to hell.

Totally.. Babcock should just declare Sparks as the #1 at this point. Saturday night's loss to Ottawa was totally unacceptable. Andersen should be able to play better when on the bench. Ball cap/goalie mask; pfffft... same thing.. Get in there, sit down on the bench and make saves dangit. |

Zaitzev is 2nd last in primary points per 60 for D who play 20+ mins....
Dubas is getting rid of him for sure. He is a decent bottom pairing guy but that’s about it. |

Hes only decent when used as an offensive defenseman like he was during his first year with the Leafs. Then Babs decided to try and change him into a better defender, which hasn't worked out. Hopefully Dubas can find a GM who is interested in trading for him and use him as an offensive defenseman. Will be tricky but hopefully someone bites lol.

This is totally untrue.
Zaitzev has the worst hockey IQ out of all the Leafs D.(it’s hilarious how people say Gardiner does) He consistently panics whenever there is an ounce of pressure and fires it up the glass.
The one thing he does well is break the cycle. And he can skate pretty well.
He’s the perfect example of a “has all the tools but no toolbox” player. |

Well, Gardiner is injured so people need a new person to blame. Not surprising, earlier in the season Tyler Ennis and his 4th line minutes were to blame for the entire team's slump...

But let’s not forget he lost to the presidents trophy winners and then the 4th overall last season...
If you think about it logically he overachieved bringing the Caps series to 6 games.
