Well, If I can't have Buffalo Sabres Playoff Hockey at least I can watch the UB Bulls try and make a run in the tourney. I will be watching from a poker machine in Vegas... |

20 bigger things to write about:
Nylander fits in with this group of players more than....
Rochester vs the Sabres would be an embarrassingly close game
The sun was in Nelsons eyes in Colorado, no reason to bench him
Housley's wife is playing political games with the Pegulas and JBotts to keep her husbands job. It will reflect poorly on her if he gets fired.
Fitz has some ground to walk on with how poorly the St. Louis trade has worked out...SO FAR
Ripped needs to hug his father
Beady really does live in lockport
bowling is more fun to watch than sabres games
Can Botts pull a Beane during FA this year, or is he stuck waiting another season to clear out old money?
Yoga is titties - washedup20
I'll say this, I'm still not convinced. But at least the guy can pass, unlike about 80% of the others. |

So there is visible talent from a young player who has already produced in his short time on a failing team...and its still questionable if he can make this donkeys anus of a roster? |

Reinhart is our 2nd best forward right now and that is coming from a guy who bashed him like no other the first 3 years of his career. No complaints with Sam this year. Still wish we selected Draisatil but that’s a story for a different day. Jack, Dahlin, Rhino, Skinner, Montour have been nothing short of fantastic. Every other player needs to look in the mirror. |

my biggest issue with him is can he sustain it ? He has the reputation of being lazy and soft.... I've been his harshest critic but I'm going to be openminded about him until he proves to me what he exactly is. Im hoping he turns out....we REALLY could use it. |

I have come to the conclusion we have some of the dumbest fans in the NHL and deserve to suffer another 40 plus years - homiedclown
This is sad but probably true. Eichel and Buffalo literally feels like Sundin and Toronto 2.0. It’s quite sad. Reinhart was a disappointment up until game 41 of last year but ever since has been fantastic. I wish that Skinner wasn’t snakebitten and wouldn’t have a 1 goal in 14 game stretch but that’s more so him coming back down to earth then anything else, no complaints regarding his play this year. Dahlin is a dream, I’m onky referring to him as Swedish Jesus for here on out. Montour has been great in a small sample size. It’s the rest of the team and the coach I have a problem with. Mitts will eventually join this list when he is developed. |

The pirouette that he did in front of the goalie in the wide open slot eliminates all of those. LOL |

Agreed. This is my core as well. Build around this 5 and we'll be OK. Eventually. Plus, fire Housley.

If he can show consistency throughout the rest of this year and the AHL playoffs my hope will be restored. Before Nylander’s 4 game goal streak that had him rewarded with a call up the guy had 6 points in his last 20 games... He looked good the other night though. Let’s see what he can do against Toronto and the rest of the way here. |

I still think Mitts can be a 70 point player in his PRIME. He has elite hands and ability. He absolutely toyed his opponents at the WJC last year and I think just getting the experience will help him adjust. |

Yeah he could just be SAM 2.0 and He needs a lot more time to develop.... going to be interested to see how he does the rest of his time here, but more importantly in the AHL playoffs. |

think his biggest issue this year is he just wasn't strong enough.... and he needs a little work on the skating.... his god given talent was enough in every league he's played in until he got to the NHL... now he needs to work a little more.... Im hoping to see an ever better Mitts next year. |

Totally possible. The success of younger players right away has destroyed the perception of other younger players that haven’t clicked right away. Like you mentioned Sam really came on this year and made me look stupid. I hope Nylander could do the same. I hope Thompson can as well and show up his haters on the site. |

Yes. This isn’t high school hockey anymore. I hope Mitts and Rhino can become a pair like Jack and Skins has this year. Would be great for overall team success. |
