How about the 1st pick ? If its not a lottery pick but, 6-8?
Risto and 7th over all for point - signed/extended

I think point thrives because of their system
I'd want rant or marner if making that trade

It obviously works REALLY freaking well |

I wouldn’t mind Capuano either. Those Isles teams overachieved with him there and players loved him. |

That would be interesting. I was watching Joe Flacco highlights from last season and John Brown was very prevalent. I think he will be great for Allen in the deep passing game |

What’s their system? Keep your 2nd rounders and hit the lotto a few times?
They are why I hate just tossing picks around like candy.
There’s a free superstar in the late 1st/mid-rounds just sitting there every year and the rebuilding Buffalo Sabres trade picks like morons |

The best scouting staff in the NHL has assembled the best team in the NHL this season. Funny how that works.

The Capitals have been the best team over the past 5 years of so in terms of record and they also draft and develop well.
Like how is it this hard for Buffalo and Edmonton. Its unreal |

That's the reasoning behind idiots buying lotto tickets. I'd rather have the "good" player than take a 70% chance of a guy who never even sniffs the NHL. |

The problem with Edmonton and Buffalo is that the players they are depending on are their draft picks. The Leafs had solid players in place and insulated their draft picks better and had a good coaching staff in place. Winnipeg went through years of missing the playoffs but also had Byfuglien, Little, Wheeler, Enstrom to insulate their younger players. The Lightning have been building towards this season for years. The problem with Buffalo was that Leino, Moulson, Okposo were flops while ROR and Kane couldn’t make enough of a difference.

Joe Flacco is an average statistical QB. However he’s proven he can win. He’s won 7 road playoff games, an NFL record. Baltimore ran the ball well and had a fantastic defense. The Broncos will run the ball well and have a fantastic defense. We’ll see what that results in. I think it’s a 9-7 or 10-6 record and a wildcard spot. |
