Big Mac was pretty quiet on his call up . He reminded me of Archie. Maybe being sent down like Briesbois will help him understand. Some players need a couple of trips back and forth before they catch on to what it takes.

I’d also like to see Gaudette get more minutes, it’s not like he’s playing bad. The way Green is riding EP, Horvat and Edler right now is hilarious. He’s playing them like it’s game 7 of a playoff series, and then later when one of them gets injured we’ll chalk it up to “bad luck”

Canucks are 3 points off last years point total and have 1 less win with 10 games to go.

I actually really like what they are doing . I think they are weeding out players that have no chance of returning next year. They also realize that you can get an equally as good player drafting 12 th as 6 th.

Sorry I don't see the purpose of wanting to lose games. If it is our turn then we will get lotto luck . If not draft where we fall to.

PP mins are easy, you know that, Don.

I’m talking about heavy even strength and PK for Horvat, Edler and EP while Gaudette gets under 10 minutes per game.

I know right now I think Demko is still a back up and I am more curious to see if Markstrom can carry the team . I think having him as a starter next year at 3.5 mil is a bargain and Demko will get his 25 games next year. I am hoping Markstrom didn't have a career year .Ride the SOB

That’s a fair point.


But that line of thinking sounds awfully similar to the “fill the age gap, sign overpaid mentors” strategy that was justified by some because “fans wouldn’t support a real rebuild.”


They should do what’s best for the organization long term and the ticket sales will sort themselves out eventually.

I don’t care much about Goldobin, but I’d like to see more of Gaudette, ZMac, Sautner, Brisebois and Demko.

We already know what the other players are capable of in the NHL.
