He seems like one of those good two-way swedes. Good wrister. I’d guess middle six.

good to know. i hope this guy pans out, just so we will have gotten some legacy player out of burrows and then we can do the same with this guy when he's getting long in the toof and keep getting more out of the burrows move...

$21MM worth of half-ass commitment to defense? Ya, no thanks.

Canucks also happen to have 10 OTL this year so does that mean we'd be tied?

Bolland, Burish, Byfuglien. And those are just the ones that start with B. Don't kid yourself. Hawks were every bit the cheap shot artists that the Canucks were, if not more so. They were just granted more leeway by the league in an attempt to revive a market that had been abused by papa Wirtz for so many years.

Kelser is a total sh1thead though. So at least we agree on that!

You forgot Bollig. And then there was Andrew Ladd. Stalberg thought he was a big man for a minute. John Scott. Carcillo. Keith threw a pretty mean elbow, too.

Bunch of rat bastards.

Yeah for sure it would be nice. Not nearly as much offensive upside as Dahlen but could be a decent depth guy. We need depth that’s for sure.

I think you’re a bit premature on that one.

I’d be pretty surprised if they both weren’t first ballot guys. Kane is already. Toews has a lot of hardwear too, def HOF maybe not first ballot roght now but his career also isnt over by any means. 72 points in 72 games isnt exactly underperforming.

If their careers ended tomorrow it could take them some time to get in. There are plenty of guys with great accomplishments who are still waiting to get in. Now, if they both continue to play well through the remainder of their contracts or further, I have no doubt that both will be in the all time greats category.

He's Canadian...he was born in Canada and spent the majority of his youth in Canada, the others are true Americans.

Ovi might pass Mario, Yzerman and Messier next year for total goals scored.

He's 1 away from Shanahan and will surely pass Robitaille and Selanne next year as well.

In 2 years he has a chance to usurp Hull for 4th all time and would of played between 330 and 600 games less than 1st , 2nd and 3rd.

Greatest goal scorer of all time

Truly amazing consdering most of those guys scored when the league was purely offensive, unlike todays game.

It's debatable, he is dual citizen and represented USA internationally, and rightfully so IMO.

It's not debatable to me, he's not a true born and raised American. Born in Ontario, raised predominantly in Winnipeg and Vancouver, played junior in Penticton BC.

*just my opinion*

Didn’t make Team Canada so took the only offer. My buddy stayed his last years of highschool at Bretts moms near Grouse Mountain.

Playing longer doesn’t make you better. When their careers sre both done Kane will have eclipsed. Hull is the only one close. Imo he was pretty one dimesional, didnt dominate single handedly like kane.

Correct, and once youve played for 1 country internationally, you are required to represent that country ongoing.

Dual citizen, Canadian boy who played for the USA.
