He's played hockey for years to earn a spot with the Leafs, and been with them all season long.
Since when are rookies not allowed to call out bad play from their team?
Would you have said this if it was Matthews saying his team needed to be better if they'd had a bad stretch during his first season? Being a rookie doesn't mean you can't talk lol.
