Well neither of us know if it truly motivated them, but considering their play the very next game, it does seem rather coincidental. And at the very least, they aren't leaving him out to dry, so they probably aren't pissed at him for saying it, cause he supposedly hadn't earned the right to talk.

Maybe Sparks was just the one to repeat it to the media because he was the one being interviewed. If they are all already thinking it, are only certain people allowed to share it with the rest of us? Who cares at that point.
