The Wild passed over Tarasenko for Granlund because Granlund was playing for the team Koivu owns in Finland. And for that they deserve to never win the lottery. They'd just waste the #1 pick.

It was under the old Lottery system to where you could only move up 5 spots. They went from 9th to 4th and drafted Larsson. RNH went first overall in that draft.

I don't think Edmonton is a threat. They won 14 1st overall picks in a row, including the best player the league has seen seen crosby/ovi, and they're still terrible
