Sabre’s should be all over Justin Brazeau it’s not like we need help scoring

Sign him to a NHL contract if he is bad just wave him next year

Curious, we have too many players in the minors to dress for playoffs. It will be interesting to see who plays when Tage and Nylander go down there.

I'll give a 6'6 kid with 113pts in 68 games a shot. Sure.

Did some prospect research on current rankings. Based upon the conditions of the Sabres using both the Blues pick and their own, here are the projected available players for them, based on standings, estimated finish and March prospect rankings. This also excludes the possibility of winning each of the 3 lotteries.

With either pick:

Boldy, Matthew C
Soderstrom, Victor LD
York, Cam LD
Newhook, Alex C
Harley, Thomas D
Broberg, Philip LD
Suzuki, Ryan C
Caufield, Cole C
Robertson, Matthew LD
Kaliyev, Arthur LW
Lavoie, Raphael C
Seider, Moritz RD
Knight, Spencer G
McMichael, Connor C

Pretty heavy on C and LD. Botts will go BPA, and players that are even in talent and intangibles, he'll likely target a dual position guy, whether that be a C or LD. If the Sabres drop to 10, Boldy would be an unlikely steal here. We know Bott's propensity to avoid the CHL, but with a first rounder, there isn't much "development" so to speak, as you expect these first rounders to at least be in Rochester at the end of their 19 yo season. So you have to think any league is in play. His draft record with the Pens also does not suggest he will turn to a goalie in the 1st round. Look into some of these guys, because right now, I'd say the chances of drafting one or two of them is pretty high. Of course, the 2nd half of that list gets thrown out if we gain the Sharks pick and lose the Blues pick.

Just taking a guess, I’d imagine his foot speed is an issue.

In the off-season, a Lucic for Okposo swap of brutally over-paid, under-performing players? I think I might do it. His intimidation and presence alone would be worth it IMO.

Good post. Just wish we end up in the 1-5 slot for one of Hughes, Kakko, Cozens, Turcotte, Zegras

This has to be the worst Leafs vs. Sabres game day ever.

Where is the passion?

Where is the anger?

What's wrong with serving red wine with turkey? I think it pairs better with the heavy gravy.

Leafs are playing like they have settled into the 3 spot and the Sabres are tanking. If there is any game for Buffalo to win though I’d want it to be tonight.

Go Sabres. Blow Leafs Blow. Red Wine and Turkey is a sin.

That's all I got.
