well seeing as it took Lidstrom 9 years to win his first Norris.... I guess maybe we should wait at least another year or two before he's a total bust...

You don't get filthy rich being a nice guy. Berglund should have been suspended and mandated to seek counseling. Instead they threw him away like trash.

I love my hometown teams. I would even be a Braves fan if they were still here. But everything else about them is gross and toxic. Buffalo is one of the few "big" cities in America still losing population every single year.

There is a reason no one wants to be here. This place is a nasty pocket full of bitter and aggressive locals who drink too much and eat too much and wallow in their own self-pity.

There are a few good ones, but too many bad ones. Like John Lennon said, too many babies born from the bottom of a whiskey bottle. This tough love attitude is counter-intuitive. Time to actually be the city of good neighbors once again. Won't happen with the black widow and Forest Gump sitting atop the castle on the harbor.

It's Buffalo inferiority. Babcock flirts here, goes to TO....their rebuild blazingly fast-tracks leaps and bounds over this mess. I will only say positive that JB is smart, he is building winning through the AHL but again. This will take, ANOTHER year. There is no Sidney Crosby in Buffalo and #9 is not #87. I've come to terms, the franchise and organization blows. It's easier to look from the outside in when you dise gage from it....or keep following like sheep.

Remember when Reinhart said he played better when he just "did his own thing"? How often does Jack go 1-on-4? I'm positive going 1-on-4 and promptly giving up the puck is not part of the system. I'm not bashing Eichel, it comes from frustration, but it's still not the right way to do it.

It's not just the bad players, it's getting everyone to buy in. You can have bad players and gloss over them if you have everyone buy in to cover up the players who aren't necessarily that good.
