Could be one of the more epic collapses in NHL history when they fail to make the playoffs! Might end up being a good thing when we will see the team blown up. Way too soft

Game over

Jeez, it seems like they have no pride. Montreal manhandled them in the first and now they are out skating them. Step the fack up.

Eberle coasting. Lol, should have been 2-1, instead it’s 3-0. Even (frank)ing Drouin scores. This team looks incredibly overmatched again tonight.

Well, that pretty much removes any doubt.

Not to mention, this is 2 games in a row a dumb play by Clutterbuck has led to a rout.

How has Barry not sent a message by benching Bailey yet?

They’ve busted their asses for 90% of the season; they’ve had to, the talent just isn’t there yet. Now what little depth they had is being tested due to injuries.

It might be a rough end run, but I wouldn’t judge this roster too harshly. For the most part they’ve given it their all, and largely exceeded expectations.

How is Trotz playing Hickey over Boychuk?

They’ll make the playoffs but at this point I’m more nervous they’ll end up playing the Lightning in the 1st round.

Sorry but if they go from 1st to out of the playoffs in the last ten games they should be judged harshly. Now we need to hope other teams lose ......joke

I'll give him a pass on Boychuk since he was hurt. Bailey should sit. That would be a great message to send. Get JHS back up. If he is lousy he goes right back.

I have to admit, I was a little surprised we didn’t use a timeout when they made it 3-0. Not only was the swing in score huge there but we’ve been dominated.

Hickey has been consistently the worst player on the back end since he’s come back. He has been pretty much terrible.

That ain’t gonna happen. But nor will they finish strong IMO. The roster as a whole just looks tired. They just don’t have the horses for this kind of race.

Does not help when some of the horses are lazy all year round.

You're probably right. And as someone said, the team is just soft. 1st period Domi clobbers Cizikas with a clean, but hard, hit, and there's NO RESPONSE. Team needs more grit for this time of the season. It can't be cured between now and the end of the season, obviously, but I would consider playing Johnston just to shake things up. Sit one of the softees.

I thought this is why we had Martin for?
