I’ll tell you what autism is the next form of evolution get your kids vaccinated I’m so glad I got vaccinated before I went to India. A little autism is better than poopting your insides out till you die
- 2Real

What disease make you poop out your insides before you die? I'm curious. At keqst you didnt go with the measles story though. I'm proud of you

I am not convinced the Flyers wouldn't be in the playoffs had they not fired Hextall.
- FlyerFan16

I dont think things would have turned around with Hak behind the bench. And I dont know how easily hexy would have let hak go. I dont see the season ending the same way if hak was still behind the bench. But of course we will never know.

Agree we will never know. They played to a similar post new year winning % 2 of the last 3 years under Hak as they're doing now. They were 1 game under .500 when they fired Hex. From 11/26 to the start of their run buried them.

Yeah, me and my family have gotten the flu 0 times in the past 23 flu shots (never got them before then)...but everyone who gets a small injection of a dead virus apparently feels terrible. Okay.

These people are also anti vaxxers which explains a lot of the idiocy that goes on in here.

I don’t get flu shots and don’t get the flu. Wash hands frequently, keep said hands away from face, don’t work in an office.
I’m not an anti vaxxer but can also understand why some people would have reservations.

yes, your personal experience represents all the empirical evidence needed to dismiss the benefits of vaccines. you have single handedly solved the great conspiracy of our time. on a hockey message board no less.

So next year if they start out of the gate slowly what do we do? Now up the corr? Or keep coots and roo and mix and match talent around them?
Too many years in a row we go through the highs and lows. When a team can go 20-8-2 there is zero excuse to be a sub .500 team for half of the season

So, outside of some demotions was there any really significant trades after Hextall was fired? (a rhetorical question is a figure of speech in the form of a question that is asked to make a point rather than to elicit an answer)

I'm still a little baffled as to why Dave Scott pushed Hextall out the door unless he just thought he was an a-hole, which would be understandable, as it appears that he was.

Seemed to me it was a personality conflict thing more than anything. I have a hard time believing anything Fletcher did since he's been here wouldn't have been done by Hextall, including firing Hakstol. (though that could be debated)

Deals are deals. They weren't going to get any more generous from other teams just because the guy represented the Flyers changed.

As if it was, ......Oh its YOU Chuck! YOU have a bias for action so remember that deal we offered you before, now we will throw in a first round pick and a young highly rated roster player to get it done. We would have never offered this to that meaniepants do nothing Hextall!

Not really. Hartman\Simmonds deal was the only one worth noting. To me it comes back to goaltending and capitalizing on chances. We werent getting the saves we needed. This team looks awful against most teams and still does. Any team we play seems to just dominate us with possession and hem us into our own zone and our guys skate around lost during the cycle. This has happened all season but now our Gs are bailing us out.

The second part is we had trouble scoring. Goalies VS us would rob us like crazy and it just seemed like any good chance we got, our guys whiffed or missed the net. I still dont think we make great plays with the puck. Too many passes, especially in good scoring areas, too many forced plays, too many NHL 19 plays.

Look I know the slot is a great place to score from but that part of the ice is never open but guys still just throw the puck there and it generally leads to turnovers. It works against us because other teams get us running around and some one is just left wide open in the slot. You are also not going to get the puck past two defenders with cross crease passes either. This team right now has a lot of flaws. Without Hart playing like an elite goalie I dont think we end up going as far as we have. Elliott has played well too but he wouldnt have been able to keep it up over the past 2-3 months

Another man of intelligence. Nice to meet you.
I am an ex vaxxer. And seeing how many pro vaxx people there are in here it really helps me understand why the handful of you struggle to keep up. It all makes sense now
