i'm solidly eating my crow on that pick. i HATED it when they took Tkachuk over Zadina, but right now i couldn't be happier....nothing against Zadina, he's a solid player, but i just love what Brady brings to the game

He's on a somewhat similar pace that Matt Tkachuck had in his first year. More goals less points though.

I'm not saying he'll reach the heights that his brother has so far, but I don't think anybody would be surprised if he did.

I was thinking about next years lineup...

Lindberg/gibbons or Cap Dump

I dont think they'd reach the cap floor with this lineup. I imagine they trade for a bad contract in the offseason to a team in cap trouble. Boedker will be gone by the deadline. It would be unfortiante to have to leave a guy like Brown in Belleville if he was ready, but they didn't have a roster spot.
