Kane is garbage lately. - EnzoD
He really has been. Have to wonder what’s up or if just an ice cold streak.

No, he’s in Rockford, playing 1st pair and trying to help the Ice Hogs into the playoffs. But he’s not Colliton’s cup of tea. He’ll probably be traded this summer, because ‘he’s not ready yet’. - scottak
Perhaps next year he’s 19. Gus is the only dmen who can carry the puck and actually make plays/score on offense. Apparently only one that hits too. He made some great defensive plays today.
Idk what Keith is doing half the time he isn’t an elite skater anymore but won’t or can’t adjust his game. When did our vet dmen become so scared to hold onto the puck? Blind dump arounds with no pressure. So many unpressure icings too. It’s like they are playing with a live grenade. |

The Hawks have been great lately ... at making the opposing goalie like the best goalie EVER! Cat can't shoot anymore. Kane can't do much of anything anymore. And with those 2 guys in a major suckage the PP is useless.

Al C just tweeted that two of those three should be gone next season. I don’t think he meant Strome.` - pdx2ord
Al- be careful what you wish for
Saad has been good the last 17 games & Anisimov could make a good 4th line center.
Time will tell if Al is correct. |

Why the F is it necessary to pull the goalie with over 2 minutes to go in a 1 goal game ??
Totally disagree with this philosophy JC. - Hawkytalk
I asked the same last game. Especially true (insane) when your PP/man advantage has been ICE cold and your goalie has been saving you. |

Stick a fork in em, cuz they’re done! - EnzoD
yep, which means they'll probably win 6 - 2 tomorrow. I mean, it's conceivable that they could drop into the worst five teams but they'll probably win just enough games to be like 10th worst. |

Gus? How high are you? - Elbows15
By far the best Dmen on the ice today. He made several good defensive plays and laid a few solid hip checks. Also the only one that can skate with the puck from the backend. |

Colorado is missing 2 of their 3 top scorers, and the Hawks can’t get it done.
How many mediocre performances in must win games will it take until the coach is held accountable? |

Looks like the PP of old with sharp waiting for one timers. Only thing they are looking for Dcat back door.
No down low plays, no cycle, no traffic in front. |

I made a comment earlier regarding we have to suffer through 5 more years of Seabrook making bad passes that end up being icing - let me add we have to suffer through 4 more years of Keith shooting the puck - that's if what he does even qualifies as shooting the puck. While I appreciate all the good years those 2 have given the Hawks and contributed to the success they've had - Seabrook's passes and Keith's shot hurt the team more than help and I'll be very happy when the day comes where I don't have to watch that anymore. |

I don’t understand Seabs passes. He could take a few strides and look to make a pass. He just throws those passes under zero pressure. Pointless multiple icings. Doesn’t help the Hawks have 3 lines. Are any of our 4th liners playing on a playoff bound team? Not a chance.

I blame the poor pass. - I Am The Breadman
Of course the pass sucked, but you don't need 2 plus minutes to score 1 goal. You get possession in the zone around the minute to minute and a half mark, then pull him. Quenneville was notorious for this too and I've never agreed with it.
You work it around in the O zone and get your shots....and probably get a goalie freeze and then use your timeout to rest your guns. My God that's just plain ridiculous to expect your 6 skaters to be under that much pressure for 2:30. I hate it !!

Ignoring the D challenges, this was really the nail in our coffin
Other than Jonathan Toews & Erik Gustafsson, nobody is consistently scoring for Blackhawks.
- Patrick Kane 1 goal last 10
- Alex DeBrincat nothing last 4. Last time that happened: Games 25-29.
- Saad nothing last 4; Anisimov nothing last 7; Strome nothing last 8; Kahun 1 last 18 |

Gus looked like a talented ice hockey player today in my beer soaked eyes. Dahlstrom, Keith Avs Seabs are all not very good. God the Avs are not even good. They have Machinnon who is even more impressive in person. Avs playing without Landeskog and Rantanen too. Just not impressed by the Avs and yet they beat us no problem. |

it ain't stome is right...why include him in that list...he has been outstanding since coming here, young and has a year left on ELC...unless they get a haul (which I doubt) its the other two that might have new jerseys...AA i say 90% chance he is before draft or draft day trade...

completely expected that the 4-5 goals game they were netting and the hot pp would do the ole regression...it has big time at the wrong time

Agree, but was hoping it wouldn’t be all of them at one time. Guess there is somewhat of a dependency on each other there. |

No, he wasn't. I was watching him bail out in the corner. Losing his stick and grabbing a guy leading to the eventual 5 on 3. I saw a guy who was roaming all over the ice causing break outs and leaving his partner alone. He was terrible. But he scored a goal. So he was great.
Murphy was far better. |
