No everyone doesn't have to jump off the bridge too. You have been singing this song for two years. G has produced better the last two years at wing. Just because you disagree......wait for it.....doesn't mean you are right. Just because I agree doesn't mean I'm wrong. The overwhelming evidence supports my position. Just keep singing that same, old, tired song.

First of all, you bringing up management shows how clueless you are. What do type think, Chuck Fletcher calmed down to the ice and told Scott Gordon to move Giroux to center?

As for me seeing the same song, our season turned around when three moves were made. Hakstol getting fired, Hart being called up. Giroux moving back to center and now we’re slowing down.

Let me ask you this. Who is the most important player on the ice outside of goaltending? Do you enjoy watching Laughton’s line on the third line constantly getting hemmed in? Do you enjoy watching Corban Knight on the fourth line? I don’t.

You just keep following everyone else’s ideas. I like coming up with my own.

LOL Their home record is literally just about the same as their Road record. 1 more loss on the road

Home: 18-16-4
Road: 18-17-4

OTL\SOL are never counted as losses either. Despite not winning they are still treated as ties by the NHL

- xShoot4WarAmpsx

I agree with OT SO loss. I never count them.

18-15-3 headed into the game there, bud. It’s not great, but at least they have more wins in regulation than losseswhich would make it worse if that were the case. That’s all I’m saying.

Nice revisionist math he uses there isn't it.
- jaws1955

Ben Shelley over on the Isles blog has it at 18-15-3, which is where I got that stat.

He might be referring to someone who thought 15 regulation losses plus 3 OT/SO losses equals 19 total losses to prove a point how the Flyers apparently have a losing home record.

Maybe that’s where the misunderstanding comes in. Thanks!

I still want giroux on the wing. If we get panarin our centers can be coots, Patrick, laughts and frost. Adding panarin we’ll have a good amount of capable wingers or at least should.

So you want...

Giroux-Couturier-Voracek
Panarin-Patrick-Konecny
JvR-Laughton-Frost

It’s not terrible but even if you exchange Frost and Laughton. Frost holds inexperience and I think we should expect growing pains. Laughton....Laughton should be a lot better in the middle by now.

Panarin-coots-g
Lindblom-Patrick-Voracek
Jvr-frost-konecny

I'm not even a Flyer fan..

There is no way on Gods green earth you can tell me those refs didn't have money riding on this game.

Gross incompetence doesn't even start to describe the ref effort here today.

That Hartman penalty was gross and then to slap a misconduct on the Flyers???

The only good out of this is the increased possibility that we’ll get to see Morin this season.

The inconsistency in officiating league-wide is definitely aggravating.

This is all Dave Scott and Holmgren's fault. If they didnt fire Hex and Hak we wouldnt have anything to be upset about!

G can always go back. But frost is a center. I’d hope that he would wind up on the middle at some point in the year

I forgot about Lindblom. My apologies.

It only adds to my point. I know Giroux can play either side but I have doubts Frost starts at center, especially when he plays as much wing.
