I would never bench Vas, just some bad luck to some degree. Although the Blues did play extremely well against the Lightning in their previous outing.

This one is far from over of course and Vas could still get a W. Never going to count the Lightning out and I definitely don't want the hubris of predicting a lopsided score like Bolts91.

Not sure where the comment about the Blues D being slow comes from though. Bouwmeester is still a great skater, Dunn is fast, Pietrangelo and Del Zotto are average, and I'd say Parayko is actually pretty fast for a big guy.

I had little to gain though. I started the day up 5-2 in Wins, down by 0.50 GAA, down by 0.01SV%, Winning saves 190-98 and down 1-0 in Shutouts. Benching would have been the right call but I got scared my opponent would catch me in Saves because Price and Kuemper might go B2B

My comment was based purely on speed. I'd say Petro is roughly average. His skill comes from his stick work and hockey sense, dude is cool as hell under pressure and always calm.

The Norris has nothing to do with speed, so that's not relevant. Again, I was only discussing speed. I'm not calling Petro an average defenseman, I'm saying his speed is average.
