It’s hard to say until we know what happens in the off season....if we don’t move any defencemen then there will be no room for anyone plus they are looking to add an NHL caliber RHD in the offseason....it’s possible but moves have to be made in order to fit guys in.....tho Bob said a lot of dumb poop he also was adamant that they were going for the “over develop” philosophy moving forward.....I’ll also add that Bear isn’t ready yet

I'm beginning to think this will be a summer of change for the Oil. The negative attention this franchise is receiving (from pretty much every angle) is gonna reach a crescendo. I don't think it can/will be ignored by a certain billionaire (frank).

Bob clearly spoke with Ken Holland who suggested the whole "over-ripe" philosophy. That blew Bob's mind. He thought it was brilliant. He ran it by MacT, Lowe, Howson, and K-Gretz. They agreed. Suddenly it's the new Oiler buzzword. Just wait until every prospect is out of options and has to clear waivers. That's when they make the team. The Red Wing model.
