Apparently it's the other knee, not the one he hurt earlier this year. Maybe we'll get lucky and he'll have to retire. - eichiefs9
Do....do you really think that's a possibility? |

No, but he's 33 and now he's got two bad knees. You never know. |

Lou Lamoriello says no callups from Bridgeport (AHL) being considered right now.

Ladd will never play another game for the Isles again. Either spends the next 4 years on LTIR or Bridgeport. No way at 34 will he want to be away from his family riding the buses in the minors. Lou has no allegiance to this guy. It's time for Lou to play hardball |

Our line-up is getting faster by default. Fritz and MDC are speed upgrades over Val and Ladd (obviously). |

I agree Vukota. I'm very sorry Ladd go hurt, but Lou has to do the right thing for the team. |

I mean, I don't root for anyone to get hurt. But I'll sure as (frank) celebrate when someone who's a useless anchor does get hurt |

Exactly plus the guy is going to be collecting millions just fishing and sitting on his arse. Don't feel bad for him at all to be honest |

He was already exponentially slower after coming back from Knee injury and this is the Other Knee. Rehabbing an ACL sux ... doing it when you are 33 years old is worse. I can't see him killing himself to get back to form. |

Nope, let him go home and collect a big fat paycheck to sit on his ass, fish, whatever. Pay him double for all I care, as long as he's a permanent fixture on LTIR and it won't affect the Islanders cap. |
