All I want from the playoffs is the Islanders season to last just one more day than Toronto ‘s. |

Best part of that article;
“Winger Andrew Ladd got into a collision with Christian Fischer with 4:45 left in regulation and was slow getting up. He stayed on the bench but missed his line’s final two shifts.
Ladd was out for close to three months with a lower-body injury before returning Feb. 26. Struggling to get up to pace, “
Can only hope he’s out again. (frank) Ladd. |

With all due respect Barry, if the 2 minute 5 on 3 was the 10th or the first PP it deserved to be booed. It was horrendous, sorry. Get rid of Gomez to at least change it up and I would think the Isles faithful would cut you some slack. At this point I don’t think anything other than the PP starting to produce is going to change The Fans mind imho.

"But give us a couple of them. If it’s the third or fourth one and we’re not doing anything, then you can boo. But give us a chance. In our own rink, give us an advantage. We need it."
Well, I obviously can't speak for all Isles fans, but this sounds fair to me: Three strikes and you're booed |

This is a good point, too, though...that 5-on-3 was a disaster and maybe something like that is the exception to the "three strikes" rule... |

It’s not fair that we have to watch that. They ran out of strikes months ago. |

I'm kind of torn by that article. I mean I get it, give them a chance, its the first PP of the game . But these guys are grown men, professional athletes. I understand they want the fans behind them and if they are playing well the fans are. But come on 1 for what the last 36? Its hard not to boo when the puck is going the other way or not being brought into the zone. Its going to end up costing them big time in the playoffs, if its not fixed. |

I get what he’s saying and I have the upmost respect for the guy and couldn’t be happier he’s our coach BUT I was honestly kind of shocked when I read it. Suck it up buttercup fix the powerplay from the abortion it is anyway you like just get it done until that happens you’ll get booed. Welcome to professional sports with fans and their expectations deal with it. |

It's a little disappointing frankly. I thought we were past this crap. Blaming the fans is a Snow regime mindset. So the first power play of a game sucks. Are we supposed to forget the previous 20 games when it also sucked? |

Agreed. I was a bit disappointed myself. Seems kind of untrotz like... I remember when Mark Parrish complained about the team being booed excessively in Newsday and the fans just booed him more. It was pretty funny😂 |

I get it. It most likely causes these guys to second guess themselves further but that’s professional sports and that’s why these guys get paid millions. Sorry for my lack of compassion for getting booed there Trotz.😂 |

We're very impressed. That's about a quarter million dollars per goal. |

Or an ice-skating chimp, apparently.
Bad name, good bloodlines though https://www.eliteprospect...yer/31335/bobby-carpenter - eichiefs9
Chimp? I thought that was mdw's girlfriend.
His (Bobo's) father was, I believe, the first American-born player to score 50 goals in a season. |
