not sure phil...he didn't get tested much...i would say the yotes entire steam stoned them...

hawks didn't help with foleys frequent call of "missed the net"

pk has hurt them the last 4-5 games (yeah i know two goals on 5-3's) while the pp has reverted back to dec/january form...

If they go 6-0, they MAY have a chance. I can't see that happening with playoff teams as 5 of their next 6 opponents.

Good effort but......goals win. Kahun , Sikura, are nothing more than good AHL players and Bowman traded for Kahuns team mate...... another AHL player.
Bowman has GOT to hit a COUPLE of homeruns this summer. Enough already with the college FA's and the small Euro's.

The last bunch of goalies the Hawks have faced have stoned them. Taking nothing away from those goalies because they did play really well - I think at least a little of the problem for the Hawks not scoring is because their 2 best scorers are either hurt, snake bit or both. There were a lot of fumbled pucks, whiffed shots and "just missed the net" over the last 6 or 7 games.

haven't scored more than 2 goals since the toronto game...needed a record setting performance tby craw to beat the habs and since then have really spit the bit offensively vs teams just like them:

Nucks 3-2 L
Flyers 3-1 L
Aves 4-2 L
Aves 2-1 W
Yotes 1-0 L

no regulations wins, 1-3-1, 3 pts in 5 games

Regardless, lots of change needs to happen this off season and Stan has the cap space for it. There is no excuses if next years team looks anything like this years.

Did you even watch the game? If Sikura looked like an AHL player tonight and the past few games - then what about the other Hawks - ECHL players? Sikura was one of the best 2 or 3 Hawks on the ice tonight.

other than perlini's in the slot...they had very few high quality chances

Can't argue with the push they put on the last half of the season. Am I happy they are missing the PO? Not quite. didn't expect it this season. What I am happy about is a group of players, however flawed, have put up a damn entertaining fight to the end.

For being the smallest guy on the team, I've noticed that as well how Sikura has been quite strong at engaging along the walls and in corners then often being the one to win the puck. He is not contact averse by any stretch and is one of few Hawk players to consistently play in the tough areas.
