Me too. But if Turcotte is gone, Boldy is the guy I want. He has a little Hossa in him.

What about Dcat and Strome are they also injured? Cuz they’ve been just as invisible on the scoresheet with several stupid mistakes as well.

The entire offense disappeared as soon as the lines were scrambled. Should have stuck with Saad-Toews-Sikura, Kahun-AA-Kane, Cat-Strome-Perlini, and the Klan.

I don't like to admit it but it probably is a blessing at this point as I'm sure most people agree. Not fun to watch though. Like you mentioned, DeCat and Strome look like AHL players. And I hear you on the line scrambling, that is something we are all weary of...hasn't been fun to watch lately at all. I feel bad for Kane however because I know what it is like to play through an injury where you cant handle the puck and it was frustrating like nothing I've ever experienced in sports. He has to have a shoulder, elbow, wrist, or hand injury

How many goals does this kid have this year? Not even 1! Ya remember if you are old enough back in the early 80s when the Hawks drafted a kid named Ken Yaramchuk? All god dam speed and no finish, same with fricken Kahun, those 2 aren't top 6 material. I'm not one guy that's gonna give Stan Bowman a M F'n pass just because of. 1 maybe 2 decent trades and a little run this year.
He's gonna F N get up there again and talk the same bull sh it as he did as last years end of season presser and out comes the Kool Aid. Fans should be pissed.
He blatantly ignores what has been lacking for awhile now, players that want to pay the price in the trenches. Q said it, Colliton has eluded to it , the post game show guys have said it, and Jammer , Sharp and Burrish have the pedigree to back up what they say.
The defense is soft as crap , opposing forwards can lurk in front of Crawford all day.
Colliton says it with out saying it, he's had D men turn away or wave their sticks instead of actually taking a hit to make a play.
The team as constructed is a great team.....in a no check elite summer league for pros like they had here last summer.
You fricken right I'm pissed as others should be too! Enough defending Fricken Bowman, he should be on notice now, not next summer!

Apparently you remember Ken Yaremchuk as being a lot better than I do.

I remember him more like Nick Orr when he was a Hawk...he'd fly into the zone with the puck and then have absolutely no idea what to do with it once he got there.

The only thing not happening for Sikura right now is the puck going in. Think he's looked really good in his second stint up here and once he get one, they'll start going in a bit more regularly.

I remember being at a game against the Leafs I think ... Yaremchuk sped into the O-zone ... circled the net ... did it again ... no one could touch him --then ...

.... well nothing happened. Maybe a faceoff ... it was great.

Still not a Sikura fan - generic.

Now maybe an ok time to play Kane only 20 mins and try to get Strome and El Gato going again to end on a high note there?

At least they don't need to resign forsling.

Oh well. They tried really hard. Some stuff to build on I suppose and could at least be an interesting camp with some of the more dynamic defenders rolling through.

Eloy day is nearly upon us so at least there's something to look forward to.

If there’s any injury with Kane - or maybe even if it’s “only” fatigue - maybe time to shut him down for a game - or two - or six.

He’s not going to hit 50 - or catch Kucherov - or Ovechkin.

There is a value to playing him - especially with line blending - seeing how he works with some of the young players.

But maybe time to see how they play without him.

I'm liking Sikura more and more each game. He's smart, he's quick and even though he hasn't produced he seems to still have confidence. Let's give him some time to see if he is or isn't a player who can help the Hawks. You know what will happen, the same guys screaming for the Hawks to release him will be the ones whining that "Blowman has no idea what he's doing" should Sikura go on and play well for another team.

He and Kahun fit the model of Yanni Gourde and Tyler Johnson down in Tampa. Yes not as accomplished yet, but wingers who can skate and back check.

Sikura for sure has embraced the role of playing more gritty. Hope he physically can hold up. But having wingers that can play up and down the line up with speed and skill is what SB is going for.
