With a guy like Tavares, you can tell he's a bit clunky but works his ass off and creates his offense.

Boston is really good but Tampa Bay almost has three 40 goal scorers (and Leafs fans were happy at the start of the seasons that they might have two with Tavares and Matthews).

Plus Vasilevskiy. Plus Hedman.

Tampa Bay should blow the doors off everyone this year on paper.

I'm pretty sure if you look at their entire season and pretend like they were playing 7 game playoffs series, they haven't lost a single one.

Nah, he had one good year and then has been pretty meh since. Good 4th liner that can move up in an emergency but right now hes overpaid for the leafs

Won’t be around much longer. Almost went to EDM to play with McD at the deadline apparently from some reports.

Dubas wouldn’t do Brown and Zaitsev for Nurse and Lucic.

Meh. Playoffs are a different animal. Imo the Caps would crash and bang The Bolts and take it in 7. I also believe that the Islanders would be the Leafs biggest threat and would take it in 6. No there not even close to being as talented but the us against the world mentality still holds for them. Every other team doesnt scare me as much as them, even the Bolts.
