An example of this type of trade:

Eichel to the Rags for Zibanejad, Deangelo, and Kreider

I read on another site that at one point last season Housley literally had his hands around Jack's neck he was so fed up with his attitude. Guy who posted claimed to have a source in the room.

If true, I think it's time to move on from the entitled brat from Bahstan.

- Losman

You've got to be kidding to even entertain the thought that Housley had his hands around a player's neck. C'mon.

I hope they give a truck load of money to Yzerman for President of Hockey Operations.

Or bring back ruff

Listen to terry’s interview last night, he was asked about adding a president, he said no we are not adding anyone

That was the worst example possible and seeing Jack lift up the cup in New York would be my breaking point

I’ve said it countless times.

8 years of suck. 1-2 players that I wouldn’t consider moving.

1 top 8-10 Center. Eichel. ( I’d move him and risto for Barkov and Huberdeau)

1 cornerstone d-man. Dahlin.

It’s so damn embarrassing

How is that possible?

- ImThatGuy

I watched kim's presser live on twitter and jesus christ did she sound incompetent on the hockey/football ops side. She called the sabres the bills
- Sabre_Tooth

As far as players on the field and on the ice:

Beane and McDermott are running the Bills.

Botterill is running the Sabres.

The owners are not telling them what player personnel moves to make, who to trade for, etc. Anyone who says otherwise or believes otherwise has no clue.

Could they hire a "hockey czar", per se? Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't. It certainly didn't work with LaFontaine. He hired Murray.

They have a GM that is a genius with an MBA from Michigan who is the only person on the planet to win 3 Gold World Jr. Medals, whatever that is worth, who knows there is a problem, but not sure what to do about it. Everything is fine. Putz gets all the credit for Rochester living off all of GMTM's picks. Effin bum.

Imagine at the '15 draft someone came up to you and said in 2019 both the Oilers and Sabres would still be poopholes with one playoff appearance combined.

Just exactly how much of a Richard is Eichel?

People on Facebook (Sabres Mafia) are wondering if there is some internal discord that would cause Berglund to leave $12M on the table and walk away. ROR to jump ship, terrible non-trying effort seasons, it’s pathetic.

Maybe Berglund didn’t want to be a part of a coke addicted culture because of past issues. I don’t know.

Reino sniffing powder all night and showing up to practice play can’t be a good look. And if his bike riding partner is ok with it, the he isn’t much of a captain. It’s fine for the rad Party Boyz of hockey buzz to brag about how much coke they enjoyed or sniffed off of Roys keester, but that’s just people talking poop on hockey buzz trying to sound like the 1990s party master.

I find it inconceivable that professional athletes can slug back booze and sniff coke all night and show up to work. If the captain or the captains first mate gets a pass, that could’ve pet of the problem.

See how many naps Eichel has on game day? Either he’s sleeping one off or trying to stay away from reino the coke fiend.

In today’s nhl you have players who take their health seriously and eat the Gerbe eats to lengthen their career earnings period.

Maybe there is a real douchenozzle that people hate playig with no matter how much coke or money they get?

Inquiring minds want to know... any thoughts?

Terry Pegula isn't watching Anaheim Ducks games telling the general manager to trade for Brandon Montour.

Does the gm run the hypothetical by him? Yes.

We kick all the superstars out we dont need them

Just need people that punch people in the face and work hard

- gerbe75pts

Need a combination of both. Not necessarily someone to punch guys in the face, but someone that can clear the front of the net. Maybe someone who will have teams looking over their shoulder. Teams can run our superstars with no fear of any retribution. We are a very soft team and could use a Tom Wilson type player. Doesn't need to be a goon, maybe someone like Ferland, Maroon or Austin Watson.
I don't think there is a softer team in the league, and this is not on the coach before everyone starts pointing fingers, but on the players themselves.

Moves for the future like that of course he isn't running it by him

But Kim P wanting Kane gone

Just yesterday he was asked about Skinner

Instead of saying I will let Jason handle that he said something that didn't need to be said

He is in the draft room when they are discussing players. How many owners sit in on those meetings?

I am willing to be that less than 25% of the owners sit in those.

I'm willing to bet that Terry "sitting in" on draft discussions isn't him trying to act like Joe Scout. The guy is a serious fan. Who on these boards, if you owned the team, wouldn't want to sit in? It doesn't mean he's telling the gm to draft player A over player B. He's interested and that's fine by me. I'd be interested, too. It's an exciting day for your franchise.

Kane was a scumbag. Your daughter is bending over doing something, and Kane says something about her ass, you going to say, "oh, Evanderrrrr, stop". Give me a break.

He's less involved in player decisions than some on here profess to know.

Which means he shouldn't be sitting in on those.

His fandom gets the better of him.

It's been 8 years of him owning the Sabres.

Take out the 2 years of tanking and he has 6 seasons of him owning the team.

The results are terrible. He is influencing this team more than he should be.

Something along the lines of being asked if he would like/expect a deal to get done with Skinner.

His answer was yes he expects it to get done or something along those lines.

It's not terrible but as an agent you hear ownership commenting and instead of just saying "Jason is handling that" he answers and put pressure on Botterill. Any agent will use that as leverage.

He (Pegula) is just not good at press conferences.

Minus the few championships the Cowboys won in the early stages of him owning the team.

And hasn't won one since 1995 so almost 25 years.
