100% agreed, unless its for 2-3 years - EnzoD
Would you want 3 years of this Karlsson for $7-8M? |

45 points in 52 games for San Jose this year.. He will turn 29 in May so you get his last remaining high level years (in theory). No way does he pass up the 7 year contract that someone will give him this summer. So it's a moot point really.
EDIT: Boquist has been called "the Next Erik Karlsson" so who better to mentor the kid than Erik Karlsson himself?? Having him allows you to develop the young offensive dmen in Beaudin and Boquist slowly too. Would be fun, for sure. |

Fun until you're paying $7 mil for whatever Karlsson is in 3 yrs and $6.7 mill for what's left of Seabrook by then.
Signing him would be an extreme short term play to try to capitalize on Toews and Kane best years they have left. If Q was still here I could maybe see them take that chance but not with Colliton. He is more of a longer term rebuild guy in my opinion.
And I think you are spot on regarding the contract. |

Yeah, no way it'll be three years. Interesting to think about in the short-term. Enzo, I don't know about having him teach Boqvist that defense doesn't matter. |

Not at this point. That ankle injury from a couple of seasons ago has messed him up.
I think its what is causing all the other issues he has been having recently. |

I hope Wilson signs him for 8 years. The front half of that contract ain't gonna be so hot. |

Is it just me that finds it a little off putting when an adult male appends an "ee" sound on his name - like "Dougie". I wonder if he signs legal documents as Dougie.

Like Dougie Hamilton? That puts me off, too. |

Sign Karlsson and pair him with Gus. Every shift will result in a goal, either for or against |

With ya. Any of them but for some reason I find Scottie particularly off-putting...like Scottie Hartnell or Scottie Upshall. |

Boqvist with another goal - London up 2-1 in the 2nd. Entwistle with a goal - Guelph up 1-0 in the 2nd. |
|
|

And now Boqvist has scored his 2nd goal tonight - London up 4-2. |

Ya... but what good are goals if Boqvist can’t check. Another Bowman fail. |

Entwistle takes a penalty late in the second and Kitchener scores. Undisciplined play like that won’t cut it in the NHL. |

The exception. Also, his last name was Scott not his first and on the show he was actually a Scotsman...plus it was the 60's. |

Another fail by Blowman, They should cut bait on him now before he becomes a clubhouse cancer. |

Prolly out of position on both of them. Trade him for a 3rd. |
