There's so many hidden jokes in there.

Like when Moe was asked to donate to a fund for a supposedly dead Lisa (Lisa the treehugger, S12E4) and he drops out this:

Season 12 is the last watchable season.

It's a shame the Simpsons have now created more terrible seasons than good ones.

Yup.

I'm sure there are good episodes in there, but it's not worth watching them all to find them

I can't watch much after 9.

But godamnit if seasons 3-9 aren't the finest TV ever made, hands down.

Anybody else wonder why Babcock (stop whining and play your best players) was playing Hainsey on 3 on 3. Absolutely (frank)ing brutal.
- 5Hole Mgee

He played Rielly and Muzzin back to back and put Hainsey out after.

Not really a big deal. Z would of been just as bad.

I don't blame Freddy. It is of note though that when he left Anaheim he was leaving a team that allowed the least prime scoring chances in the NHL at the time, and coming to a team that gave up a poop ton of chances. He's a good goalie but I wouldn't say elite overall. The Leafs could absolutely win with him of they ever decide to put a balanced lineup out there with some good defensive defensemen and moved away from this overaggressive style where the D basically chase guys around the ice in their own end.

So anyway, not Freddy's fault...

Season 9 is one of the best just for Homer Vs. The City of New York.

With a poop defense, Andersen is a top 10 goalie.

With a good defense, he could be top 5.

If the defense was good enough, they'd have enough to win with him in net even though he'll probably never win a Vezina until they fix the D.

Because Rielly had already been on the ice, and since Dermott and Gardiner are injured, he's probably the best choice at that point.

Scary, I know.

But who would you put out:

Zaitsev?
Ohmygodno?
Muzzin?
Marincin?

If I was coaching the Leafs I just put three forwards out there and let the other guys try and keep up.

The defense is suppose to be the best passers on the team. When Dermott and Gardiner are healthy, OT isn't a problem

As a side note, to all those people female doging about Gardiner, the Leafs have been poop without him. What a surprise that a team that relies heavily on stretch passes would suffer greatly without their best stretch passer.

I think that it's something that can be relatively easily addressed.

Our RD (Hainsey, Zaitsev, and Oz) are pretty poor at passing. The LD can easily make those stretch passes, but the RD cannot.

Ahead of them though are our RW, and we're stacked. All three of Willie, Marner and Kap are the main puck carrier on their line. They need to be dropping deep and giving puck support and an easy out to the RD.

Our LW (Hyman, Marleau, Johnsson and Ennis) are fast and feisty. Excellent on the forecheck, and speedy AF. They are the guys who should be chasing in behind and looking to give an option for a stretch pass, not the RW. If that option isn't available, defer to the RW who can carry through the neutral zone and get set up.

Not likely. All they have to do is force the poopty RD to make the passes and cut off the stretch pass in the neutral zone. Most of the teams that have beat the Leafs did exactly that, especially the Bruins last year.

Hainsey’s not a bad passer, he has lots of flaws but I think he’s pretty wise with the puck for the most.

His numbers aren’t great but he plays against top competition all night.

He’s better than Z
