Good game for two periods. Blue Jackets hit the 2nd intermission with a narrow 3-2 lead.

They blew it open in the 1st five minutes of the 3rd. It was all over but the crying after that.

Man.

If there's anything that makes me hate hockey, it's the utter hypocrisy and complete lack of common sense in terms of how hits to the head are handled.

Unintentional high sticks are called all the time. Players need to learn how to control themselves.

(also I'm not saying Shaw's hit was unintentional, I'm saying that even if it was, there should be a punishment greater than a two minute minor).
