I remember a while ago you gleefully stating that Kadri would not see out even half of his contract with Toronto. As we approach July 1st, which would be that point in time, just how many portions of humble pie are you preparing to have for dessert on that warm July Canada day evening to celebrate one of the better contracts in the league?

Everyone knocks the Leafs for not fixing their defense. Yet just 3 seasons ago we finished dead last. You cant fix everything at once and the Leafs elected to focus on offense and goaltending 1st largely because of who was available. Now the Leafs have a top tier offense and goalie and will focus on fixing their defense going forward. Who do you see the Leafs adding to their defense this off season from Free Agency, Trade, or Promotion?

If there's anything that makes me hate hockey, it's the utter hypocrisy and complete lack of common sense in terms of how hits to the head are handled.

Unintentional high sticks are called all the time. Players need to learn how to control themselves.

(also I'm not saying Shaw's hit was unintentional, I'm saying that even if it was, there should be a punishment greater than a two minute minor).
