This season proves that with getting the best goaltending in the league the last 35 games, and depth scoring from your bottom 6, that you will have a strong team. ROR’s production the last 30 games has gone back to his Buffalo levels. The difference is St.Louis is a much better team and they have been getting scoring from guys like Steen, Sundqvist, Barbashev, Maroon, Bozak. St.Louis’ defense corps also isn’t too shabby either. Pietrangelo’s game is back, J-Bo hasn’t been great but is a respectable vet. Vince Dunn, Parayko, Edmundsson are three great complimentary d-men.

I brought him up in defense of Mittelstadt. Because people have blamed him for a lot of our scoring issues. My point is he hasn’t been a huge downgrade on offense from last year on our second line. I even put in the post specifically “Yes, I believe O’Reilly is the superior player” in an attempt not to trigger your bizarre rage.

I would actually take Pommenville back dirt cheap with the idea in mind that he would be "rested" every couple of games and would have a cushy front office job when he decides he's officially done. I see the value in keeping Okposo around for the expansion draft. Although, I can never remember if you can or can't expose players with a NTC. We're probably stuck with Bogo next year unless he happens to be healthy at the deadline next year and we retain celery. All the junk 3rd/4th liners can go suck rocks.

They’ll have better options to choose from though
