The two previous Stanley Cup champs only had one 80+ point scorer each year, too.

Edm has TWO 100+ point scorers and they're atrocious.

Sign a guy for one year. If he looks like he knows what he's (frank)ing doing, extend him. A guy doesn't need NHL experience to be a good coach. He just needs to be a good (frank)ing coach that can communicate his message to his players. Housley clearly cannot.

The NHL is a TEAM sport, the best teams have balanced scoring across the entire team. Edm has 2 guys in the top 4 in scoring, Not in the playoffs... I guess points dont matter that much if they have 2 players over 100 and still are not making the playoffs.

There's replacement level players all over this lineup. There's BELOW replacement level players here. We keep female doging about Jack Eichel hitting 100 points gets us to the (frank)ing playoffs. Open your gd eyes and realize how many bigger problems exist here than (frank)ing Eichel.

it is frustration, and I understand that, and it's good to be frustrated instead of dissociated and apathetic. But this team's problems run deep with a severely flawed roster and a severely unqualified coach.

if he plays like he did this year in the defensive zone.. yes he need to be better. if he improves and he's somewhat responsible in his own end and scores 90 points I've got no issues with that... nobody is questioning jack is the best player on the sabres, nobody is saying we aren't happy about his point improvement, but you cant honestly say he not somewhat responsible (like everyone else on the team) for what happened this year. he can be better, we need him to be better as the captain.

He's mostly right, it is on the players. And any of us that have taken college courses, hell, even high school teachers. Would any of you agree some professors were better able to actually teach you something better than others? I sure as poop can. I've played sports for most of my life. And I can tell you that all coaches are not equal. Not by a long shot.
