That game was awesome too. Eichel single handedly destroyed them.

They lost to the Caps but it was a hell of a game. Now all they do is glide on the ice and wait for the game to end. The purge must come.

they were having trouble with secondary scoring that month but ironically, of the 12 goals they scored, four came from skinner and three from jack...having 58% of your goals coming from the top line is a decent ratio...the others who scored during those four games:

kid gets 4 points in 8 games

then bury him on the 4th line with larsson and gus, while giving okposo and wilson twice as much ice time

Is anyone able to justify keeping Housley? This is a serious question, and I'm looking for an objective answer. Coaching consistency? Culture development? Communication? Is any of this worth a damn without results?

I'm a culture guy, but let's be honest, it's the salt in the soup.

I really hope he comes out like a bull in a china shop this fall

Sabres are back to having 9 NHL dmen for next season. Not sure if Borgen can fight for a spot. Trading Risto/Bogo/Scandella and even Hunwick (for what) seems like an inevitability.
