He will look good with a coach that understands that this team is driven, like it or not, by young players, and that the GM needs to do his job to be able to put all of his players, short and long term, in areas to succeed. Having an offensive guy play 8 minutes on the 4th line is teaching him the defensive game, I guess. But it's not utilizing him to his talents. They all need to learn how to play defense, but at the very least, have them playing 15m a night with around 60% OZ F/Os. That's how you include them in Dzone covg and not tie them to god damn Sobotka.

Me thinks people would be very sour on Olofsson’s accuracy so far

Here's another problem I continue to see. The center depth on this team is abysmal. CM has talent that needs further development. After that, it's Erod and diarrhea. So people are always up in arms saying, you put those guys with HIM? That's a product of the players under contract, not necessarily the coaches fault. He needs to play the cards he's dealt. It exposes a serious flaw. There is no competence in center behind Eichel. We need a more developed CM, and a 55-65 point 2nd line C. Who can win some (frank)ing draws so Sobotka becomes redundant.
