Not sure about that one. Unless he had Ken Hodge and Freddie Stanfield with him too. A guy that wore #4 for the Bruins also might have helped a little too. - Hawkytalk
That was my point though. If the trade was never made they'd have potentially had all three players when they played the Habs in '71 and '73. |

why did Seabs do that...……...wind up deep in his own end and shoot it down ice on the PP ?? Was someone breaking for a long stretch pass that the camera didn't pick up ? |

Kane was nearby. You always want Tarasanko to pass. - TrueGrit
Absolutely. You can't give Tarasenko all that room, that's just not intelligent hockey Duncs.

But without Pit Martin there would have been no MPH line. (Martin, Pappin, D. Hull)

There were two mistakes on that play. Whoever was the defense partner gambled on a high risk pinch. On the ensuing two on one Keith positioned himself to take away the cross pass and mistake number 2 was Ward not coming out higher to take away the angle because he didn't have to worry about the cross pass. Come on TG you know this, it is taught in Novice hockey. |

Seabrook chasing a forward is akin to watching a grandfather chase his grandkids... |

I have that on a note card here somewhere...... |

Gus has to be aware of the situation. He has to be sure when he pinches. He goes halfway and gets caught in no mans land. |

Must be interesting trying to read notes as you're on the ice in a game. |

I was a big Martin fan...D. Hull too. The MPH line has a nicer ring than the HEC line (Hodge, Espo, Cashman), but I think I'll take the latter's scoring. |

Hopefully, He/she's a hockey fan. Otherwise it would be kind of pointless. |

Pappin put in 30-40 goals for a few years. I think the Hawks traded an aging Pierre Pilotte to Toronto for him.

Kruger, cocked and loaded, Hayden chuckles and shoots 5 feet wide.... Good decision.. |

Cubs 3-2 in the 6th. Lester still pitching. So far so good until the bullpen comes in. |
